I became a Bordeaux fan circa 2006. But admittedly, such passion for the team only reached the present level as from 2008; the time when the club became more and more exposed. Ligue 1 clubs are indeed difficult to follow from outside France! I have become accustomed to the fact that twitter is a great newsfeed, as well as reading sites such as those seen on your right. —->

I would say that my ‘all-time’ favourite Bordeaux player is Marouane Chamakh. My current favourite player is Grégory Sertić. Watch out for him.

I do have more players who I am more ‘partial’ to – which you may or may not notice in my postings – but I can safely say that I love everyone who currently sports the marine et blanc shirt.

I am from London and a life-long Chelsea supporter. That club comes before everything, by far. I also follow La Liga, in which I affiliate with Real Madrid. Make what you will!

However, I think it’s safe to say that I know a lot, lot more about Ligue 1 than your average football fan living in England. ;)

I have a degree of fluency in French, some accents can throw me off though! Translations on the tumblr are by me. Obviously, this tumblr is primarily a source for English-speaking Bordeaux fans, but some text will be left in French from time-to-time! Not sure how this skill would help the growth of this tumblr, but I also get on pretty well with Spanish, haha.
