Bordeaux has a good team, with or without Gourcuff. I remember that things didn’t so well last season despite having Blanc, Gourcuff, Chamakh. Les Girondins want to build a team of Champions League level.
JLT:
I spoke to Yoann straight away and we still keep a good rapport. I wish him nothing buy good things and esp the great career that he deserves. We parted on very good terms.
1. de Tavernost speaks so much more sense than JLT does, when he does speak. and yay for ambition.
2. He sooo wouldnt’ve said such great things about Gourcuff if the transfer fee were lower. But good hustling! As for Aulas, hahah. You and your games, saying Lyon gave up the big-euro chase.

“ON VERRA.”
(“We’ll see.”)
Yeah ok whatever.
EDIT: fyi, When he was asked whether this is his last match with FCGB.
A few people wanted a translation from the Garden Party. Typing out the Sertić and Sané part with the video playing in the background, so apologies for the shoddiness in the rushed translation!
From 2:00:
Grég: Each player steps out to their number. The first Cédric Carrasso, the last Abdou Keita…don’t forget the number 25, who is Lamine Ludovic Sané. *I’ll let you come in a bit* There, get out. A great, great player; the FUTURE, they call him the new Desailly.
Lamine: I would like to say that the number 22, it’s not for nothing, because he has the style of play of Kaká. (his old number at AC Milan)
Grég: If you insist, if you insist. :) No, but it’s important, because you can see all of the partners (Bordeaux’s), all of Lamine’s fans (LOL) outside; we take pleasure in knowing them. When Lamine goes out, *Haillan goes crazy*.
Olivier: Do you have a special entrance or not?
Grég: Yep.

Doing this has made me realise that I need new earphones. I don’t know what Greg says off-camera anymore. Help?
But in a nutshell, these two are hilarious, and I worry for their egos.
On Gourcuff matters, he was cited recently - “Mon avenir, les gens parlent mais moi je n’ai jamais rien dit.” —- My future, everyone speaks about it, but I never have.
I didn’t see it, but apparently in a post-match interview today, he was questioned about his future and was all like “I don’t want to talk about these things, not interested in talking about stuff other than playing football.” blahblahblah, something along those lines. And walked away or something?
lol, may Gourcuff continue his press bitchiness.

“Thank U” wouldn’t be enough!!!

Marouane Chamakh. “and who knows, maybe I’ll come back to Bordeaux one day. Here, is my life.” Marouane’s last match at C-D kicks off in approximately five minutes… |
I want to give everything in my last matches for Bordeaux. I know I will feel a lot, a lot of emotion at C-D against Sochaux (last home match of the season), because here are the people I love. At all costs, the fans will always be in my heart.
I try to make do with what the fans give me: their confidence, their smiles, their love for the club. They are always ready to support me and cheer me on whatever happens. It is something very strong.

Marouane Chamakh. Initially, I counted the weeks that I have, what I had left until the end of the season. This gives me five weeks. But now, effectively, it’s a countdown that is ever-ticking: This leaves me with only nine matches. Because of this, it is up to me to have nine great games to go as far as possible with Bordeaux, for the team, and especially for me. |

Marouane Chamakh. As long as we have not won anything this season, I cannot let myself pack up. I want to finish in style, like my team mates, to do everything we can, to at least get a place in the Champions League next season. After that, a title would be something wonderful. |

Marouane Chamakh. —- You have now come to discuss your situation, whereas before now, it was rather difficult for you. I’m always quiet about it, because it’s really difficult…but little by little, I have come to let go. Whether in relation to the club, to the fans, it’s hard. |

Marouane Chamakh. As I leave, I…(he gets emotional) I have nothing to regret. I feel that I have not betrayed. Even when I have not been that good, I feel that I have given it my all. |
